Katherine Randall


Prior to founding Katalyst PR in 2010, Katherine garnered her PR knowledge at several top lifestyle PR firms directing the publicity campaigns for culinary, hospitality and lifestyle brands. She also spent several years working in-house and launching an e-commerce boutique, where she led all the communications’ efforts. This vast experience provided Katherine with an amazing understanding and high-level view of PR, marketing and social media. The goal of Katalyst remains, as it did on day one – to work with brands and industries she and her team are passionate about. Today Katalyst manages a roster of successful client relationships and PR campaigns, all while staying true to providing a hands-on approach and creating long-term partnerships with clients.

Dawn Seymour

Managing Director

Successfully navigating the media and PR industry for more than a decade, Dawn Seymour has shaped a top roster of clients, building strategies, comprehensive PR plans and creating a strong media network along the way. A passionate storyteller Dawn started her career on the media side later joining a leading hospitality PR firm where she tapped into her writing skills and trend expertise to direct new PR angles for national lifestyle products and culinary brands. The lifelong foodie is passionate about health and wellness and currently lives in Solana Beach with her husband and two sons.

Paloma Hernandez

Account Supervisor

Paloma brings a passion for the hospitality and culinary industry, backed by her 10 years of public relations and marketing experience. She has the ability to build strong media relationships and strategically execute successful campaigns. Her previous work as a marketing manager involved maximizing new and existing relationships, local and national media relations, exclusive nationwide product launches and special events planning. She previously executed marketing and PR campaigns for the American Red Cross, San Diego Museum of Art and Univision - New York City. As a San Diego native, she earned her BA in Communications with a minor in Spanish from San Diego State University.

Paulina Millan


Creating both bi-cultural and bi-coastal public relations campaigns, Paulina brings expertise to her years of experience. Her passion for communication and a true love for the culinary and hospitality industries provides the inspiration for her dedication and work ethic, managing the media relations for several Katalyst clients. She has secured a multitude of publicity hits in national publications like Variety, Restaurant Hospitality and Eater as well as, the San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego Magazine, Modern Luxury and more. A San Diego native, Paulina graduated from Manhattan College in New York with a major in Public Relations and received a minor in Spanish while studying in Madrid.

Jennifer is a public relations and marketing specialist with extensive experience in conceptualizing and implementing effective local, national and international promotional campaigns. Bringing over a decade of experience in communications, her expertise is primarily focused on hospitality, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle clients. She offers a unique combination of strategic planning and counseling combined with efficient, yet thoughtful program execution. Jennifer’s experience has been mastered over many years working with clients including, esteemed fashion designers, artists, hospitality brands, luxury products, branded consumer goods, philanthropic institutions, entertainment and global corporations.  Past and current client experience includes: Joie De Vivre Hospitality, Bond Street Restaurant and ABH Lounge at Thompson Beverly Hills, The James Hotel, By Palisades and many more.
